Goodbye 2007, Hello 2008

This is Small Dogs Paradise’s last post of year 2007.

Beside some health (skin allergies, specifically) problems and my hectic study schedule, 2007 has been a good year for me. First for the fact that I haven’t been posting religiously like I used to in 2006, yet my web traffic has been increasing steadily. Although a large portion of the traffic comes from organic searches, but it’s the referrals and fans that keep this site flourishing.

Who are the referrals and fans? That’s you nice folks who came back to read my blog religiously and sending article links to friends via emails, forums, and blogs. I could list the referrals and fans here, but it gets a bit lengthy to do so. Furthermore, it’s impossible for me to list all of them as it’s not fair for me to thank some and not others. Nonetheless I thank ALL of you from the bottom of my heart.

The second group of people I want to thank is the commentors. Without your contributions (comments), my blog is no difference to those static web pages. One of my objectives in setting up this blog is not so much about me sharing my “expertise” rather it’s about commentors sharing among commentors and readers. Actually, there are many more commentors than what it appears to be. I get a lot of emails from folks who are either shy to comment publicly or haven’t work around the commenting things. Everyone has to start somewhere, and that’s a nice start.

The final group of people I want to thank is my sponsors. Although I didn’t start out this blog with a main intention to generate income but overtime I manage to draw in good revenue on it—of course, more is always appreciated!

So what Small Dogs Paradise has installed for you readers in 2008?

I’m not a big fan on new year resolution—not that I can’t fulfill them—rather I feel it is much more practical and achievable to renew our resolutions daily. After all we have one morning, one afternoon, and one evening everyday, shouldn’t we have one “new” resolution everyday? Are you going to wait a whole year just to start your new year resolution if you broke yours in mid January? No wonder, many people are miserable and stressful. If you want to be successfully and happy, be like your dog—Live In The Moment!

All I can say for now is that I will continue to post useful and interesting articles as usual, respond to emails and comments as promptly as usual, and have more fun with my senior dogs.

Thanks again for your continual support.

May 2008 bring you and your dog
more joy, prosperity, great health, love, and peace!
