Common Plants That Are Dangerous To Dogs

Plants That Are Dangerous To DogsIn addition to what I wrote about houseplants that are toxic to our dogs, here are a few more plants that must be kept out reach. Although you may not have these plants in your garden or house, you might want to keep a mental note on these plants especially when you bring your dog out for an excursion.

  • Asparagus ferns
  • Azaleas
  • Cactus
  • Chrysanthemums
  • Daphne
  • Jasmine
  • Nettles
  • Sweet peas
  • Wandering Jew

Basically, all bulbs of the above plants are toxic to dogs when ingested. Be sure to read my previous article on what the symptoms are when your dog chewed on one of these plants.
