How To Be A Guest Blogger At Small Dogs Paradise

Ever since the official launch (May 2006) of this blog, readership has grown quite steadily. But it didn’t really take off until September 2006, and ever since readership has increased at least 55% each month.

With increasing readership, naturally I attracted some experts in the same field. Some share my views while others do not. That’s absolute fine with me, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Although I have been dealing with dogs for four decades in various areas, I do not claim myself as an expert. I’m merely sharing my experience and knowledge.

Anyhow, I have always wanted to give my readers various point of view in regards to dogs from health care to training. Of late, I’ve been receiving a few emails asking if they could contribute their expertise on this blog. Of course! It is an excellent ideal for my readers to expand their knowledge, contributors to increase their credibility, and for me to enhance this blog.

Being a guest blogger comes with certain rules, this is to prevent spammers (Splog) from flooding my inbox. If you are interested in becoming a guest blogger here, please take the time to read the requirement below. Thanks!

Submission Rules

1. All articles must be original.

  • No duplicate content from your site or article directories. You may edit (50%) of your published articles to suit the audience here.
  • No private label articles.

2. You may include up to three links to your site. i.e. home, about, contact, individual post or article.

  • No affiliate links.
  • No re-direct links to any sites or affiliate sites.

3. Length of the article should be between 350 to 900 words.

  • You may use any html tags (h1, bold, blockquote, li) to enhance readability.
  • You may use any relevant keywords you are targeting and I will include them in the meta tag. Just specify them in the contact form. Although I won’t put the article through a keyword density checker, however I will not accept any article filled with keywords stuffing. Remember you are writing to humans not robots.

4. Should there be any comment pertaining to your articles, it would ideal if you respond to them.

How To Become a Regular Contributor

I would much prefer if you can become a regular contributor (if you meet the above requirements) instead of submitting to just a couple of articles. Readers here need some time to get warm up to you, so if you consistently producing good content you will reap great rewards (readers’ loyalty) which in return gives you great credibility and exposure.

Commitment level

  • Minimum one article per month. This should be easy if you are a starting out blogger.
  • Maximum one article per week. This is to be fair to other contributors, myself, and readers.

It’s not a prerequisite that you must have extensive experience or knowledge on dogs (although it helps), but if you have done the research well, I don’t see why you can’t be taken seriously on the given topic. This should be a good opportunity for freelance writers.

If you do not have a Website or Blog and wish to contribute, simply send me an email with the article and anything you like to present. I will try to accommodate you. This is a great way for you to attract potential customers, clients, employees, and other links to enhance your company’s presence on the web and increase its potential for additional income.

All submissions will be reviewed by me for content and relevancy to Dogs, preferably to Small Dogs.
