Believe it or not, many still think it&#039;s true! Some potential adopters use this excuse to turn down our dogs! Then, I was a green horn in animal shelters and didn&#039;t want to upset genuine and eager adopters, so I just let them be. I thought over the years (20 years later), people would be able to filter out some myths but they didn&#039;t.  

I hope I won&#039;t hear this excuse again in 20 years time! ;)</description>
