What’s With Those Dog Names?

Zeus, Pepsi, Monster, Chopsticks, Venus…are some of many dog names used on this planet.

Believe it or not, it’s true!

Of all the animals in the world, dogs are the most special beings to humans.

That’s because domesticate canines are given dog names.

Well, humans only name special animals, usually domesticate pets are the most highly rated ones—only a few farmers will name their chickens, pigs or cows. And to name an animal is to grant its unique identity and accept it as a friend or companion.

Many named their dogs for unique reasons.

Fun Facts: Once there was a woman who named her dog Toto (Singapore’s lottery), because she desperately wanted to strike her six chosen numbers.

Some named their dogs according to food items….

• Burger
• Jell-O
• Sushi
• Perrier and etc.

Others named according to the calendar month or day that their dogs were bought or brought home.

Car lovers named their dream cars like…

• Benz or Mercedes or Mercs
• Corvette
• Lexus
• Audi
• Porsche
• Ferrari and etc.

And while some ladies named by their favorite fashion designers’ names…

• Gucci
• Vuitton
• Chanel
• Armani
• Issey or Miyake
• Cartier and so on
