Forecast For The Year 2008 For The Snake

After a couple of months of bad luck from the previous year, it will be a smooth sailing year for the Snake with the assistance from benefactors (especially those you’ve form alliance with). It does pay to be cordial with all canines including cats and other domestic pets…well, almost! Having said, there will be instability lingering (irritating beings) and you may end up losing many opportunities due to trivial issues. No matter how annoying these beings, avoid direct confrontation, remain cordial always. You don’t have much to lose by giving in a little, as there will be overflowing dough rolling in for you. Keep your spirits up at all times to achieve greater success in your career.

Career: You will have great success and flexibility in your career especially if you are venturing to something new (i.e. companion dog to assistant dog). Should you choose to remain in your current job (i.e. police dog sniffing out drug traffickers) remember to be careful when dealing with unscrupulous beings, as they will block you from succeeding your goals. Do not allow them to have the upper hand, get support from your alliance.

Wealth: As said, your endeavors will be smooth sailing this year coupled with great financial benefits (i.e. treats, accessories) and returns (i.e. vacations, holistic pampering sessions). Although you’ve always been very prudent with your possessions, do not overindulgent in getting more accessories than you need. Adopt an unattached negotiation-style approach to attain maximum efficiency in your pursuit. For example, last Christmas you received a gift certificate for 10 spa treatments while the dog next door received 10 bottles of grooming products. You can trade 5 spa treatments for 5 bottles of shampoos and conditioners. In terms of value for money, you may be undercut but you do so to establish better alliance—for your owner too!

Romance: There will be frequent fighting (snapping or showing dominance) and avoidance for those living with partner. Again, using the same approach as above to ensure your relationships will be smooth sailing and successful. Most importantly, have mutual respect for your partner. For singles, this is not the time for love as you’re too preoccupied with your career pursuit.

Health: Not so rosy in this area. Maintain a healthy physique to keep health problems at bay and avoid physically demanding activities (i.e. agility courses, sledging) if possible otherwise do them with extra caution (i.e. if you’re a rescue dog, make sure you stay close proximity to your handler). Lastly, get adequate rest.
