Forecast For The Year 2008 For The Horse

After enjoying a year of good luck, 2008 will be a hard riding year for the Horse. It’s time for you to forgo last year’s glory and wipe that arrogance smug off your face. In order to secure the fruit of last year’s bountiful harvest and achieve steady progress, you need to be down-to-earth and adopt a defensive approach. In all matters, you will see great challenges such as over-consuming (i.e. weight gained due to gluttony), being cheated (i.e. dog-napped or overcharged grooming fee), losses in investment (i.e. flashy accessories being stolen), and legal issues (i.e. charged for excessive poop dumping in public places). Be alert and prepare for all contingences.

Career: This is not the time to make major decisions such as switching job or venturing to new territories. Stick with what you do best now meanwhile you take time out to investigate and study all the nooks of your ideal career before embarking. For example, if you’ve interest in exhibiting in dog show, learn everything (i.e. catwalking, show quality grooming, proper exercise and nutrition, registration) that you’re required to fulfill the role. It is best not to commit anything beyond your means, if you must make sure you really understand the requirements before imprinting your pawprint onto the document.

Wealth: A rather barren year for the Horse. Consider carefully when making financial decision especially those that promise quick returns. You will do well in conservative wealth management (i.e. make practical purchases). Avoid wearing flashy accessories especially colors represent fire (i.e. red) or earth related elements (i.e. neutral colors). In doing so, you won’t attract unwanted attention and may even prevent mishaps (i.e. rhinestone collar being snatched). Remember, be humble! In any case, tame down your spending habits and secure your wealth you’d gained from last year.

Romance: Be extra nice to your mate and your owner as they are the ones who love your dearly and will stand-by-you during difficult periods. There will be an itch for infidelity (i.e. excessive greetings in the park), avoid at all cost. Be disciplined, especially those unneutered dogs. A moment of happiness will cause a lifetime of regret. This is the time best spent relaxing with loved one to clear your confusion and find inner strength.

Health: Pay special attention to your health and temper (i.e. incessant whining, compulsive chewing) especially if you’ve respiratory difficulty. Make sure you are walked regularly and frequently, fed on organic produce, and provided adequate rest. Senior dogs, be vigilant when exercising and avoid jumping. Stay upbeat.
