Cancer dogs tend to be sensitive creatures and devoted pets so long as you are as sensitive to their moods as they are to yours.

A Cancer dog will likely have a strongly developed sense of what is fair and what is not, so be prepared for some early “discussions” as you establish whose territory is whose and what time meals should be served.

Do beware of clinging to your Cancer dog only for comfort – when you are upset or unhappy about something – as these animals can pick up your emotions and assume that you do not care for them as much at other times.
