2009 Forecast for The Horse

After “riding on a choppy terrain” in 2008, this coming year will bring some relief for the independent Horse but not entirely smooth sailing. When comes to decision making, consider all options before taking the plunge. There is “great potential” to do well in your career (i.e. from pooch potato to neighborhood Alpha dog) and even garner more wealth (e.g. given extra bedding for your hard day’s work). As long as you can sustain perseverance on your goals, there’s a better future. Word of caution: do not indulge in illicit activities (i.e. terrorizing new pups or romanticizing your buddy’s mate). There are sneaky canines out to sabotage you so avoid gossip gathering (e.g. relentless butt-sniffing) and stay neutral in unfamiliar settings. Engage more in outdoor activities to manage your stress.

Career: Although the current is smoother now, you still need to continue with your work etiquette (i.e. put your early trainings to good use—stop soiling indoors or going on insect hunting spree). It will be a social year for the already popular Horse so spend more time build up new network and work to improve existing relationship with business associates and canine-colleagues. There will be benefactors, both canine and human, coming in to aid you in your career. For those canines taking training programs (e.g. agility, flyball, guide dog) to advance their career, this is the best year to do so. You will pass with flying colors and advance quickly.

Wealth: Your benefactors will help you to attain success on the career front, bringing in abundant wealth especially in financial and property areas. Considering all options you must, but your decision have to be decisive because repeated changes show you lack of professionalism (e.g. resulting confusion among peers) and might cause failures (e.g. affect the cooperation ties in the pack). Although wealth is abundant but it comes just as easily as it vanishes. Hence you must plan carefully otherwise you have a tendency to overspend due to your need for extravagant lifestyle.

Romance: A social year for the already popular Horse and things will look up romantically.
