Dry Skin Care for Dogs

Natural Home RemedyMany dogs suffer from dry skin. Causes of this affliction can include allergies, anxiety, infection, diet or after a recovery illness. But whatever the cause, there is always a solution. You can either buy ready made solutions or you might want to try my secret home remedy for dogs with dry skin – suitable for dogs with mild to average dry skin problem.

Ingredient:

  • Chamomile Tea
  • Olive Oil
  • Paper towel

Methods:

  1. Just boil up the kettle, make the tea.
  2. Allow it to cool down.
  3. Pour or it over your dog.

By rinsing your dog with a bit of chamomile tea will sooth your dog’s dry skin without leaving any oily residue those other dry skin treatments can leave. If your dog has severe dry skin, rub some olive oil into the affected area and then towel him off with a paper towel.

This home remedy is not a substitute for dogs with chronic dry skin. What I would recommend is using Head to Tail Aloe Oatmeal Shampoo and Skin Irritation Flower Essences (my dogs love this essence so much so that it became a ritual even they no longer suffer dry skin) for extended period.
