Also, having your dog think he's alpha can also result in separation anxiety. Being alpha, they think they need to protect the pack, so when you leave they go crazy because you become eligible for danger. I have two chihuahuas and they are very submissive. The dobbie from what the owner tells me isn't the biggest fan of little dogs. I don't want my babies harmed.
